Rivers State Police Command has arrested a 26-year-old man, Gracious David West, who is suspected to be the serial killer murdering young women in a similar fashion at different hotels in the state.
Newsafresh.com gathered that the suspect was apprehended on Thursday along East-West Road enroute to Uyo from Port Harcourt.
West, who hailed from Buguma Local Government Area of the state, is said to be a member of the Degbam cult group.
Police sources disclosed that he had made useful statements and investigation is ongoing to ascertain his motives and identify possible accomplices.
Meanwhile, the state’s Police Commissioner, CP Mustapha Dandaura, is expected to brief newmen on the development on Friday.
