Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has discharged 12 COVID-19 patients after recoveries, FCT Minister, Muhammed Bello, says on Tuesday.
Bello disclosed this via his Twitter handle while announcing that the latest development has brought to 145 the total number of discharged patients in the capital city.
The Minister tweeted, “I am delighted to announce the discharge of 12 COVID-19 patients who have been successfully treated at our isolation and treatment centre in the FCT.
“The total number of discharged patients in the FCT is now 145 as at May 25th, 2020.”
Meanwhile, the FCT has confirmed 14 new cases of the virus as the total number of reported cases hit 520 with 368 active cases and seven deaths.
